Terms of Service

The service
Cosmic Hosting rents Windows Server virtual machines that you access over Remote Desktop. A server runs for the term you paid for (1, 3 or 12 months of 30 days each). You get full administrator access and are responsible for everything that happens on your server.
Acceptable use
You may not use the service to:
- send spam or bulk unsolicited messages;
- attack, scan or break into other systems (including DDoS, brute-forcing and exploit scanning);
- host or distribute malware, phishing pages or stolen data;
- mine cryptocurrency;
- commit fraud, or store or distribute anything illegal, including content that sexualises minors;
- infringe others' copyrights or trademarks.
If we receive a valid abuse report or see abuse ourselves, we may stop or delete the server without notice and without a refund, and close the account.
Payments
Prices are in US dollars and paid in cryptocurrency at the rate shown on your invoice. Send the exact amount on the network shown before the invoice expires. Payments sent to the wrong network or address cannot be recovered. Because crypto payments can't be charged automatically, nothing renews by itself.
Payments are final. If we fail to deliver a server you paid for, contact support and we will provide it or refund the payment in the same cryptocurrency.
End of term and deletion
When a term ends unpaid, the server is stopped. If it isn't renewed within 3 days it is deleted together with all its data. Deleting a server yourself removes it and its data immediately and can't be undone. Keep your own backups.
Availability and liability
We work to keep servers available but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid for the affected server in the last 30 days.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes apply to new terms you purchase after the change.
